Air India to Inaugurate A320 Neo with Delhi – Vijayawada Route via Hyderabad

Airbus A 320 Neo, Air India’s latest aircraft, first time landed in NTR Amaravati International Airport near Vijayawada on Wednesday 22nd march 2017. The new A320 Neo recently added to the fleet of Air India aircraft and had just started serving on the New Delhi – Vijayawada route via Hyderabad. It would continue to be in service on the route. In Gannavaram as a mark of maiden service of new Airbus was welcomed by Water Cannon salute.

Air India’s new fuel-efficient Airbus A320 Neo

Air india latest aircraft, @Airbus A320 Neo, makes its first landing in Vijayawada airport.

Madhusudhan Rao, Vijayawada Airport Director and Air India manager Rajasekharan greeted the pilots and congratulated them. Air India took around 14 Aircrafts for lease across India recently, out of which one was provided for new International Airport at Vijayawada.

Welcome to AirBus A320 Neo to Vijayawada airport. Air India replaced old AirBus A320 with new A320 Neo on Vijayawada – Hyderabad – New Delhi route on 22nd March. It is latest fuel efficient version of A320 type aircraft.

Last Month February 16th first Airbus A320 Neo services with its maiden flight arriving in Chennai from New Delhi with 161 passengers on board touched down at the Chennai International Airport from the Indira Gandhi International Airport.

Air India has plans to launch total of 29 A320 Neos into its fleet by March 2019. Air India has already announced that it will induct thirteen more such planes in the fleet in this year.

The national service is the primary home operator of A320 Neo aircraft that is powered via CFM engine for the reason that the opposite two are using the plane having Pratt & Whitney engine.
