Andhra Pradesh Receives Prestigious CNBC’s State Of The Year Award

India’s most famous business personalities assembled at CNBC-TV18’s IBLA (India Business Leader Awards) 2016-17 in New Delhi on Thursday, March 23, 2016. In this well-known event Andhra Pradesh win the ‘State of the Year’ award for the year 2016 announced by CNBC TV 18 under the ‘business leader’ category. A team of judges with well-known personalities from Banking and Industrial sectors selected AP as State of the Year. It is also declared as Industry-friendly award to our state. Here they observe various innovative and state developmental activities have been taken into consideration for choosing AP as ‘State of the Year’. In this regard AP CM Chandrababu is invited for the Award Presentation.

Award Presented to CM Chandrababu Naidu by Finance Minister Arn Jaitley. Taking it to Twitter, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu shared.

Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju and Union Minister Sujana Chowdary have attended the awards event.


The 12th edition of the awardsIBLA winners are selected through a “3 phase methodology conducted by the CNBC-TV18 editorial panel and research team, through a process based on a combination of criteria including financial performance, leadership, creativity, innovation and social responsibility. Nominees are also evaluated on their ability to create short-term advantage, long-term value, a competitive edge, and the demonstration of leadership in the business community,” according to IBLA’s website.
