India vs New Zealand ‘A’ Teams Test and ODI Series | Mulapadu, Vijayawada | Vizag


Cricket: India ‘A’ side for Two First class Matches and Five One Day contests against New Zealand ‘A’ from 23 September was announced on Wednesday. “Karun Nair” was named the captain to lead the Indian ‘A’ team. Test series which will take place in Mulapadu Stadium, near Vijayawada, from September 23 to October 3 and later move to Visakhapatnam to play five one-day internationals from October 6.

The two first-class matches will be played in Vijayawada, while the five One-Day contests will take place in Visakhapatnam.

Vizag One-day Internationals: Five matches – Start from 6 October to 15 October at Visakhapatnam (Vizag).

Rahul Dravid – coached India ‘A’ team

Shane Bond – coached New Zealand ‘A’ team

They will stay at Hotel Gateway and they will have practice sessions at Mulapadu from September 21.

Former India legendary batsman Rahul Dravid will be the head coach of the India ‘A’ side which is scheduled from 23 September to 15 October.

2nd Test – September 30-October 3, Vijayawada (Four-Day match)

1st One-Day match – October 6, Visakhapatnam (Vizag)

4th One-Day match – October 13, Visakhapatnam (Vizag)

5th One-Day match – October 15, Visakhapatnam (Vizag)

Andhra Cricket Association secretary Ch. Arun Kumar on Wednesday said the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) would directly pay the vendors and would look after the expenditure of the India ‘A’ and New Zealand ‘A’ Test series which will take place in Mulapadu, Vijayawada, from September 23.
