Goddess Maha Lakshmi is described as a fair lady with four arms, standing upon a lotus flower, decorated with precious jewels and fine garments and holding lotus flowers in her both hands. She appears in 8 forms and is well known as Asta Lakshmi. The temple priests adorn her as Goddess Mahalakshmi Devi, who is one of the ‘Thrisakthis’, and is known for her dhairya.
