Good news for sports lovers in Andhra Pradesh (AP), Reliance Group is setting up three sports arenas in Amaravati. The company representatives met the IT minister Nara Lokesh and evinced their interest. They promised to work out fine details on the project very soon and present them to our government.

The state government had already planned a Sports City in Amaravati and these sports arenas with international facilities will complement the government’s efforts.
It will help in bringing world-class infrastructure to the new capital city.
AP state government would require lot of resources to create the infrastructure to host the National Games, including stadiums, equipment and accommodation.
The National Games will help get a branding for the Amaravati.
Lokesh said the government will extend all help to Reliance Group in establishing the sports arenas in Andhra Pradesh. During a meeting, he asked representatives of Reliance to speed up the process so that sports lovers will benefit and encourages new talented players.
He wanted the foundation to extend support in using the advanced technology in agriculture.
On the basis of news, Reliance CEO Ambani may visit Vijayawada soon and meet CM Chandrababu Naidu and discuss various investment proposals in AP.
Meanwhile, Japanese firm Kuni Umi Asset Management Company Ltd has expressed interest in setting up a movable pavilion in the vicinity of the secretariat at Velagapudi.
In a related development, Honeywell company has proposed to set up a centre of excellence in the capital.
