Agri Gold: Good news for the Agri Gold depositors. The police department have made arrangements for the verification and validation of deposits of Agri Gold depositors at various places across the AP state. According to the government instructions, the urban and rural police officials revealed the counter venues at various places to check the depositors’ claims to be started from October 12.
Agri Gold Counters for Verification
AgriGold depositors who have registered in the CID website/protectionofapdepositors.com, by uploading a copy of the AgriGold bond, receipts and Aadhaar card they have to carry following documents to designated verification counters.
Original-recipient has to visit the counters.

- Address Proof and Photo (Original + Xerox Copy)
As per the orders of High Court, the urban and rural officials are prepared counters to enroll the names of AgriGold victims at all police stations in the AP State.
Ongole: SP B. Satya Yesu Babu told reporters on Tuesday that the verification would be done at 67 centres in 54 places in Prakasam district.
Tirupati: Urban SP Abhishek Mohanty said the verification of documents would be done from Oct 12 to 18 at B.N. Kandriga and Thottambedu Police Station (for customers of Srikalahasti, B.N. Kandriga and Thottambedu mandals), Chandragiri P.S. (Chandragiri mandal), Renigunta P.S. (Renigunta, Vadamalapet and Yerpedu mandals), Armed Reserve grounds (Tirupati Rural, Tirupati Urban and Ramachandrapuram mandals).
Chittoor: SP S.V. Rajasekhar Babu said nine scrutiny centres were set up for the benefit of 4,417 identified victims of the Agri-Gold firm in 56 mandals, municipalities and corporations in the district. The centres would operate from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm from October 12 to 16 at the Old DPO in Chittoor; police stations at Gangavaram, Punganur, Kuppam, Madanpalle I Town, Piler, Puttur Police Quarters, Nagari and Berisetti Kalyana Mandapam at Satyavedu.
Rajamahendravaram: Urban SP B. Rajakumari said counters were arranged in all the police stations in the Urban Police District for verification of documents. There were 8, 236 victims in the urban police district limits. For those with no web registration yet, help desks would work from October 26 to 29, she said. Those abroad could opt for web verification. In case of deceased depositors, legal heirs could get the verification done at the counters, she added.
Visakhapatnam/Vizag: The city police will set up over 35 counters across the city from October 12 for a minimum period of about 20 days to physically verify all the victims.
Vijayawada: Police Commissioner D Gautam Sawang said registration of new depositors in the website and their verification will start from Oct 12, 9 am onwards. Eight police stations in the city police commissionerate limits have been given instructions to set up similar counters. And 17 stalls for registration and verification to complete the process in a smooth manner.
And 49 counters will be opened in all police stations in Krishna district.
He said 17,244 depositors in Vijayawada, Ibrahimpatnam, Vuyyur and Pamidimukkala had enrolled earlier in the website launched by CID protectionofapdepositors.com and opined that the number may go up during the field verification of depositors.
Guntur: The Guntur district police have arranged the counters at the Police Parade Grounds and the Prathipadu and Mangalagiri police stations. The personal verification is being done at Guntur, Mangalagiri, Piduguralla, Amaravathi, Phirangipuram, Tsunduru, Macherla and Ponnur. Also, police have chosen market yards, schools and colleges.
Prakasam District: The Prakasam district superintendent of police, Bhusarapu Satya Yesubabu announced that the district police has arranged special counters for the verification of Agrigold bonds and receipts with the depositors from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM starts from October 12.
Srikakulam: AgriGold victims are highest in this district out of 13 districts in the state. AgriGold, total depositors are 9,97,680 across the AP state. Out of it 2,20,110 are belonging to “Srikakulam district,” which is one-fifth share.
District police opened 20 counters at “Armed police quarters” at Etcherla near Srikakulam city. Counters will work up to October 16, working time from 9 am to 5 pm and after October 16 all papers and receipts would be verified.
The date and the counter location is hosted in the official website. This apart SMS and Whatsapp alert will be sent to the victims. Those who have not registered with the website can now register and seek a fresh date, he added. After completion of verification, ID number will be given to each customer.
